John Legend to Trump Jr: Your Father is Racist

In order to protect his supporters, Trump chose to cancel the Chicago rally, as anti-Trump protesters,  many who had ties to the Black Lives Matter movement, stood outside the arena creating an atmosphere of violence.  Trump stated that he did not want anyone to get hurt.

After Trump canceled his rally in Chicago Friday because a slew of protesters showed up, Donald Trump Jr. tweeted that some of the protesters couldn’t even explain why they were there

“Ha 5 students when asked why they were protesting couldn’t even answer,” Trump Jr. tweeted. “The participation medal/micro aggression generation is pretty sad!”

Legend quickly defended the protester’s motives. “I think they were protesting your racist father,” Legend tweeted back. “This isn’t complicated.”

Trump Jr. told Legend that the nation was divided because people like him pulled the racist card all the time, blaming race for all of society’s ills.

“That can’t be the answer for everything you don’t like,” Trump Jr. said. “That’s why the country is so divided now!”

It is ironic that the left gets offended by what they see as name calling, yet calling another person a racist is not offensive.
