Caving in to outcries that they represent the South’s racist past, Greg Fenves, the president of the University of Texas in Austin, announced on Thursday that the statue of Jefferson Davis will be removed from the campus’s Main Mall and moved to the school’s Dolph Briscoe Center for American History.
The statue of Woodrow Wilson was moved as well to “maintain symmetry on the mall.”

This b******t will stop when TRUMP is ELECTED.
No matter what you do you Thugs….History is history, it is forever and you cannot erase it.
This is totally crazy!!! History is history good or bad!! in fifty years they will erase what is going on now! Pure stupidity!!
They can try but we will stop this.
Okay then, remove MLK statues too. I don’t think it’s right to glorify a serial adulterer.
My God in Heaven. Is there no way to stop the stupidity?
They was moved to new location
O M G these are tributes to our forefathers. So wrong.
They weren’t destroyed I bet. They looked like they were well handled as if someone bought them. Let’s hope so.
When they remove all Civil War artifacts just as the Muslims removed all of the Buddhist Shrines they will find something else to hate. Hate never is happy.
