Caving in to outcries that they represent the South’s racist past, Greg Fenves, the president of the University of Texas in Austin, announced on Thursday that the statue of Jefferson Davis will be removed from the campus’s Main Mall and moved to the school’s Dolph Briscoe Center for American History.
The statue of Woodrow Wilson was moved as well to “maintain symmetry on the mall.”

Well they were Democrats after all.
This nonsense is getting totally out of hand. It’s time to stand up to these PC Bullies!
It’s sad the the focus of your life is rooted in the past.
Sad day when people have to erase history. If you do not know where you came from then it is hard to know where you are going!
So much there goes our history
there are a lot that needs to be removed but it aint statues
WHEN Donald J. Trump IS OUR PRESIDENT …THIS WILL GO BACK UP …IT’S THE HISTORY OF THE USA ..WHAT THE$#%&!@*!!!
Bundle up the blacks and send them back to africa. Problem solved.
All they’re doing is attempting to re-write history. Next, they will “repeat history” because they refused to learn from it.
The ignorance of the PC crowd is mind numbing.
