Caving in to outcries that they represent the South’s racist past, Greg Fenves, the president of the University of Texas in Austin, announced on Thursday that the statue of Jefferson Davis will be removed from the campus’s Main Mall and moved to the school’s Dolph Briscoe Center for American History.
The statue of Woodrow Wilson was moved as well to “maintain symmetry on the mall.”

Idiots! So ashamed of my country when ignorance rules.
the libtards must go…….
This racist business has gotten way out of hand just ridiculous
bull$#%&!@*!
What a disgrace just to please a few liberals.
They are crazy. The nuts are trying to erase history of the south which is insane. The statues should not be removed. Next the nuts will demand the history books be chanaged. People that never lived through the Civil War should never thry to erase history. I have ansesters that fought in the Civil War from the North. Those statues of the history of the Civil War will be erected again one day. You cannot erase history and our heritage.
And soon there will be nothing unique to see in NOLa– just another poverty stricken southern city
Remove Obama he offends me!!
Yasmine Smrekar — the south has the monuments you claim are racist– so why are all the race problems in the northern states with out monuments
Figures LIBERAL skanks!
