Caving in to outcries that they represent the South’s racist past, Greg Fenves, the president of the University of Texas in Austin, announced on Thursday that the statue of Jefferson Davis will be removed from the campus’s Main Mall and moved to the school’s Dolph Briscoe Center for American History.
The statue of Woodrow Wilson was moved as well to “maintain symmetry on the mall.”

Where do we draw the line? How much more of this are we supposed to endure? This is our history! Something needs to be done before there’s nothing left of this country or its history.

This was a part of our history. I’m so sick of these cry babies. Build and bridge and get over it. I am of Irish ancestors and they were so mistreated here and in England and you do not see them talking about how everything offends them. If blacks are so worried about being mistreated maybe they should go to Africa and ask why their kings sold them into slavery.
