Caving in to outcries that they represent the South’s racist past, Greg Fenves, the president of the University of Texas in Austin, announced on Thursday that the statue of Jefferson Davis will be removed from the campus’s Main Mall and moved to the school’s Dolph Briscoe Center for American History.
The statue of Woodrow Wilson was moved as well to “maintain symmetry on the mall.”

The Southern States were being squeezed because of high tariffs Washington was imposing on other countries good coming in, and our goods being exported, of which cotton was a big part , were being retaliated against. Those same dumbasses need to also understand that the 2nd Amendment was put in place to forcefully keep a government from going out of control, not to keep burglars out of the house.
