Christmas break came early for the students in the Staunton, Virgina school district when their classes were canceled due to the controversy surrounding the Islamic calligraphy lessons given to the ninth grade World Geography class. As reported by Truth and Action, the “district closed schools the Friday before Christmas holiday as the media covered the complaints regarding the assignment, resulting in an onslaught of phone calls and emails. An increased police presence was felt necessary, as well as the closure, as some of the tweets and emails raised concern.”
More has been uncovered since the original story about the forced writing of the shahada-the Islamic statement of faith took place.
Not only were the students forced to practice Islamic calligraphy, that said, “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah”, but the Koran was circulated and girls were forced to put on a hijab and photographed for the yearbook, as well. One student in particular refused the headdress but ultimately felt forced to comply.
The teacher, Cheryl LaPorte, and the district seem to have no qualms regarding the one-sided exercise in religion and claim it lines up with state standards.
No where in the lesson were other religions, that are part of the Arab culture, brought in; nor did LaPorte pass around a Bible or Torah as a comparative pieces of literature.
The Virginia Department of Education curriculum framework for the World Geography lessons demonstrate that LaPorte’s Islamic indoctrination is not compliant with state standards.

The Immigration and Nationality Act passed June 27,1952 revised the laws relating to immigration, naturalization, and nationality for the United States, which will also be one of the laws that must be enforced. This act, which became Public Law 414, established both the law and the intent of Congress regarding the Immigration of Aliens to the US and remains in effect today. Among the many issues it covers, one in particular, found in Chapter 2 Section 212, is the prohibition of entry to the US if the Alien belongs to an organization intent on overthrowing the Government of the United States by “Force, Violence, or other unconstitutional means.” This law by its’ very definition, rules out the Islamic Immigration into the United States, however this law isn’t being Enforced by the White House or Congress. Islamic Immigration to the US should be prohibited under this Law as the Qur’an, Sharia Law and the Hadith all require complete submission to Islam, which is antithetical to the US Government, US Constitution, and the the Republic itself. All Muslims who attest that the Qur’an is the their life guiding principal and thereby submit to Islam and it’s type of government are thereby not eligible to Immigrate into the US. Politically Correct Followers say the Muslims can’t be kept from entering the US as Islam is a Religion, when in fact its’ an Ideology. Religion or not isn’t relevant as the the Law clearly states Aliens associated / affiliated with an “organization” which advocates the overthrow of the US Government are Prohibited from Immigrating into the US.

Teach TRUE Americana History and Teach Geography but the cross the line with Islamic indoctrination then you should be immediately fired. If as a teacher you truly care about your students, then you will refuse to teach anything to do with Islam, even if it means losing your job. Morality should always be your number one priority.
