ISIS Beheads 21 Christians, Obama Golfs And Tweets Pic Of Himself Playing Basketball

“All crusaders: safety for you will be only wishes, especially if you are fighting us all together,” stated the ISIS militant. “The sea you have hidden Sheikh Osama Bin Laden’s body in, we swear to Allah we will mix it with your blood.”

What a coincedence that Obama refers to the Crusades and an ISIS spokesman also uses the same reference in murdering Christians less than two weeks later.

Obama’s prayer-breakfast remarks drew a rebuke from Christian evangelist Franklin Graham, who reminded the president that Jesus Christ came to earth to die for the guilty, while Islam’s Muhammad killed the “innocent.”

Over the weekend, Obama’s golfing was uninterrupted by the savagery in Libya, prompting criticism of his priorities.

The Weekly Standard quoted Middle East scholar Bassam Tawil, “Does Obama really want his legacy to be, ‘The president who was an even bigger fool than Neville Chamberlain’?”

The commentary by Tom Gross referred to the synagogue shooting in Copenhagen over the weekend and accused the Obama team of a “willful lack of understanding about the nature of Islamism, about anti-Semitism, and about the intentions of the Islamic revolutionary government in Iran.”

“They seem more interested in disparaging the prime minister of America’s ally Israel than in preventing the regime in Tehran going nuclear – a regime which has already de facto taken control of large swathes of Iraq, Yemen, Syria and Lebanon.”

Fox News commentator Charles Krauthammer wrote, “Obama’s reaction to, shall we say, turmoil abroad has been one of alarming lassitude and passivity.”

He cited the death of American hostage Kayla Mueller, the evacuation of the U.S. embassy in Yemen and warnings from Obama’s own appointees.

“And America watches,” he wrote. “Obama calls the policy ‘strategic patience.’ That’s a synonym for ‘inaction,’ made to sound profoundly ‘strategic.’

“Such on-the-ground appeasement goes well with the linguistic appeasement whereby Obama dares not call radical Islam by name. And whereby both the White House and State Department spend much of a day insisting that the attack on the kosher grocery in Paris had nothing to do with Jews. It was just, as the president said, someone ‘randomly shoot[ing] a bunch of folks in a deli,’” Krauthammer said.

“If, during the very week Islamic supremacists achieve ‘peak barbarism’ with the immolation of a helpless prisoner, you cannot take them on without apologizing for sins committed a thousand years ago, you have prepared the ground for strategic paralysis,” he said.

Tea Party Network News noted that when ISIS released the horrifying video of the execution of 21 Copts, Obama was tweeting a message to sign up for Obamacare.

“The shot clock’s winding down: Today’s your last chance to #GetCovered [at] healthcare.gov.”

The statement terrorists released at the time of the video said: “All crusaders: safety for you will be only wishes especially if you are fighting us all together. Therefore we will fight you all together. The seas you have hidden Sheikh Osama bin Laden’s body in, we swear to Allah we will mix it with your blood.”

Pope Francis denounced the slaughter.

“‘They only said ‘Jesus help me … ‘ The blood of our Christian brothers is testimony that cries out,” he said. “Be they Catholic, Orthodox, Copts, Lutherans, it doesn’t matter: They’re Christian!”

White House spokesman Josh Earnest stated the U.S. condemned the “despicable” murders. But the statement didn’t mention that the attackers were Muslim and the victims Christian.

Meanwhile, Egypt, home of the Copts who were slaughtered, responded by sending jets to pound the compounds of ISIS militants in Libya, killing as many as 64 militants and destroying the terror group’s camps and weapons caches.

The White House did not respond to a WND request for comment.

At Gateway Pundit, commentator Jim Hoft noted that Obama’s golf weekend also took place as ISIS surrounded an Iraqi base holding some 320 U.S. Marines.

The Guardian reported ISIS’ “gruesome film” showed the mass beheading of Christians on a Libyan beach.

“Like the recent immolation of Jordanian pilot Muadh al-Kasasbeh captured by the extremists in Syria, this mass killing will horrify Egyptian and wider Arab and Muslim opinion,” the newspaper said. “The attention-grabbing effect of another act of mass murder may now focus world attention more sharply on a crisis that has been overlooked for too long.”

And ABC was reporting Monday that Obama was squeezing in another round of golf before “ending a long weekend with childhood friends in southern California.”

Obama, the report said, returned to the Porcupine Creek golf course in Rancho Mirage, California, where he played Sunday.

Obama’s attempt to equate current Muslim atrocities with what happened during the Crusades 1,000 years ago took place Feb. 5 at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington.

One Catholic leader called for Obama to apologize, pointedly noting that the Inquisition was political, and the Crusades were a defensive effort against Muslim attacks. A Fox News commentator blasted the president for having to go back 1,000 years to find some way to link Christians to violence.

And Graham of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association took to Facebook to school the president on Christianity and Islam as well.

“Today at the National Prayer Breakfast, the president implied that what ISIS is doing is equivalent to what happened over 1,000 years ago during the Crusades and the Inquisition,” he wrote. “Mr. President – Many people in history have used the name of Jesus Christ to accomplish evil things for their own desires. But Jesus taught peace, love and forgiveness. He came to give His life for the sins of mankind, not to take life.

“Muhammad on the contrary was a warrior and killed many innocent people. True followers of Christ emulate Christ – true followers of Muhammad emulate Muhammad,” he wrote.
