IRS used Instant Messaging to Hide Communications

Americans for Tax Reform report that the IRS used a “wholly separate” instant messaging system that routinely erased office communications, according to documents released by the House Oversight Committee. The system appears to have been tenaciously used by agency officials responsible for the targeting of conservative non-profits, in order to evade public scrutiny.
