Donald Trump isn’t the only person tearing a rift in the Republican party. While much attention has been focused on the war between Trump’s supporters and the #NeverTrump crowd, less attention has been paid to Ted Cruz’s similar inability to unite the party.
Given the Senator’s consistently conservative record, few likely predicted that the Texas Senator would be fending off attacks from the party’s far right — yet that’s precisely what’s happening. The latest example of this lack of camaraderie between Cruz and the conservative base comes from an interview with right-wing media host Sean Hannity.
When Cruz dodged Hannity’s question about the confusing primary process, Hannity launched into an angry rant against the second-place GOP contender that likely surprised many, given the media personality’s consistently conservative leanings.
Donald Trump may not be building any bridges with the party establishment, but Cruz is having trouble courting even his base.

some one needs to show Cruz’s Canadian BIRTH CERTIFIC
i watched the show last night . and cruz was acting stupid with his answers .the people would have liked an answer to these voting questions . the only thing i learned is WE THE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CHEATED OUT OUR VOTES FOR A LONG TIME . YES I BELIEVE THE SYSTEM IS RIGGED ….. WHEN YOU CAN WINE AND DINED ……AND BUY THINGS TO GET DELEGATES IS NOT RIGHT …….SO THE WAY I SEE IT THEY DONT CARE ABOUT US AT ALL
I THINK THEY SHOULD DO AWAY WITH THE DELEGATES AND GO BY THE MOST VOTES . THAT WOULD CUT DOWN ON THE CHEATING . AND THE BIASED MEDIA . AND RNC . AND GOP .
we dont need someone who can work the system .thats the biggest problem we have in this country . anybody who can worked the system is not honest ,
i see him
Ant Card I agree with much of what you say. That’s why I’m for term limits and against dynasty building. The problem is, I have lived too much history to trust any politician any farther than I could throw them. I don’t trust Trump because I know too much about him. He has always been a liberal and supported the Clintons and other liberal politicians. However, if he becomes the nominee, I will vote for him. The problem is, the states have given up their power to the federal government and they need to take it back. If the citizens of a state don’t like the way their votes are counted then they can change that, but in the mean time, if a savy politician like Ted Cruz can work within that system to his advantage, then why not? The object after all, is to win. Donald Trump could have been doing the same thing. We do not have a democracy, we have a representative republic. Our founders set it up this way because they knew a true democracy would result in chaos and mob rule. There certainly are changes that could be made to the “system” to make it better for all I think, but we musn’t “throw the baby out with the bath water.”
hannity has gone nuts..lol
this case has already been thrown out by 3 federal judges…its a non issue
Typical RINO, refusing to answer a direct question.
