President Trump has inherited numerous conflicts in the world that threaten to explode into full-blown crises at any time. That’s certainly not unexpected. And whether we like it or not, previous administrations have injected the United States into so many of these trouble spots, that even if a president thought it wise to reduce America’s participation, it would not be something that could be done suddenly or without repercussions.
In other words, it took some time for world conflicts to get to the point where we find them, and solutions will not be achieved overnight. If fact, were President Trump able to defuse just one or two of these crises waiting to disrupt life in America, it would be a remarkable achievement.
