The Trump administration seems to be wasting no time getting its financials in order. Just a few weeks into Donald Trump’s term, Trump tweeted that the debt had been lowered by $60 billion. Reports are also circulating that Trump’s first budget will oversee the largest reduction of the federal workforce since WWII.
So we know how Trump plans to save money. But how will he make it?
He certainly doesn’t seem to be willing to raise taxes very much. While he has suggested that he might be okay with a small tax increase on the rich, most of the government’s extra income seems contingent on a growing economy, not higher tax rates.
But that’s not their only plan.
The Trump Administration also seems to be eyeing unpaid debts held by foreign governments — some going back half a century.
Read about how the U.S. is demanding repayment for Cambodian bombings on the next page:
Yea we need to collect the debts
I also think the audits in government and complete accountability for our tax dollars need to be transparent to the people .
I will never forget what the Kmer Rouge did to all them innocent men, women and little kids. Public schools now hide these communist atrocities and advance socialism which is just another word for communism. We need our kids to know history the good and bad so it isn’t repeated
Debtor should be psying back money to the united states.
Nothing wrong with this at all!!
You should shut up. Back to fox news.
Every government employee cut is worth 65K. 10 =650,000k, 100 =6.5 million. Kinda see it?
Did you read the article? It states the money owed comes from a 274 million dollar loan for food and supplies to the government that was in place at the time. Nowhere does it say the bill is for bombs
But they did ask for money to buy food and supplies. To the tune of 274 Million.
if they can go after unpaid student loans they can go after deadbeat countries for unpaid debts, and we should see if there are any unpaid student loans from foreign nationals also
