The Trump administration seems to be wasting no time getting its financials in order. Just a few weeks into Donald Trump’s term, Trump tweeted that the debt had been lowered by $60 billion. Reports are also circulating that Trump’s first budget will oversee the largest reduction of the federal workforce since WWII.
So we know how Trump plans to save money. But how will he make it?
He certainly doesn’t seem to be willing to raise taxes very much. While he has suggested that he might be okay with a small tax increase on the rich, most of the government’s extra income seems contingent on a growing economy, not higher tax rates.
But that’s not their only plan.
The Trump Administration also seems to be eyeing unpaid debts held by foreign governments — some going back half a century.

We must remember that these types of stories about events 45-50 years ago always bring out the geopolitical experts, military strategists and Monday morning quarterbacks. I always find the eyewitness commentary fascinating.
She lost.
SWEET!
So I’m guessing you also believe the US should pay the 1 trillion dollars it owes to China immediately and collapse our economy?
I’m an army veteran and a trump supporter. I also just got back from Cambodia. Anyone supporting this doesn’t know anything about history or the bombing campaign Nixon ordered on them during Vietnam. This is not a moral or just debt. It needs retracted. This is the first thing Trump has done I have been 100% against.
Since China owes the U.S. over a trillion dollars, perhaps one off sets the other. Also, i didn’t say the country should have to pay it back all at once, but I do think it should at least be required to make an effort for repayment.
It looks like the man in the suite not starving! Guessing he has money stashed
How much did OBAMA send to Iran again?….
