Indiana Gov. Mike Pence has announced that, starting in 2015, new food stamp applicants that are “able bodied” and don’t have children must work at least 20 hours, or be in job training, to receive food stamps.
Other states are considering re-instituting the requirement, like Maine and New Mexico, after it was waved following the financial crisis in 2008.

Laziness should not be rewarded, these inbred low iq losers should be living on the riverfront eating from a garbage pile,
So
All people are able if no free option is available. People on aid deserve computers,Facebook, gas electric, cable TV? Hell no,should not even be voting if it was up to me
Yes they are and will forever be
From the conservative perspective, I stand with Governor Pence on the issue. The massive America welfare state must be fought with a “cap and cut” deficit reduction program here in Indiana. I am asking all Conservatives to stand with the Governor on saving the business climate in Indiana. Indiana is a nation of workers, contractors and business owners. Keeping taxes low for workers, business owners and homeowners (property taxes= low) is our state business, dig!!! Antonio Ivan Easterling sends his respects.
YES!! Why should taxpayers pay them NOT to work? We have worked to EARN the money that WE have.
yea about time
should be that in all states
Send them to the Afghanistan.
Yeah and in all states train able bodied recipients to the job then hire them before all theses immigrants that Barack HUSSEIN Obama is bringing here.
