Proponents of the minimum wage often cite it as a tool to uplift people from poverty. While most of these people have good intentions, their economic ignorance crushes economies in some places.
Influenced by the idiotic idea that the state can lift people out of economic turmoil, many states and cities are enacting laws that increase the minimum wage for their area. Seattle is one of these places.
Supporters of the new minimum wage expected it to give the support needed for the poor to lift themselves out of poverty and no longer use the state’s services helping them.

Isnt that where everyone starts technically? If you cant do the job youre let go eventually, or climb the ladder.
Lay enough of them off or shorten their hours to part time so you don’t have to provide benefits…. that helps even out the rediculous minimum wage.
I just don’t care about Seattle anymore! They allow school boards to have power over their children by offering IUD’s to 6th graders without parental consent, their mayor wants to allow sharia law there! Whatever happens to Seattle was brought on themselves!
And then there are some small business owners who keep the hourly rate low to make more money for themselves.
