17-year-old Danny Centeno-Miranda was shot twice in the back 50 yards from his bus stop. He was rushed to the hospital and died shortly after.
“Authorities have learned that the suspects are undocumented immigrants based on information given to them by the suspects, Kraig Troxell, a spokesman for the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, told The Washington Post,” reports Fox News.
Police say the attack was coordinated and possibly motivated by gang affiliations.
“This was not a random incident,” Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman stated. “The suspects and the victim were known to each other.”
“We’re looking into that there may be some gang affiliation, however we don’t know what the reason was just yet for the incident taking place,” stated Chapman.
According to The Washington Times, “Commonwealth Attorney James Plowman said he intends to try the 17-year-old as an adult.”
Thanks to the Obama Administration’s catch and release directives, situations like this are far more common than you’d think. Many of the illegal immigrants they want to give citizenship to, are known gang members. That sounds like a good way to add fuel to an already out of control blaze.
