While we have been struggling for decades to come up with a solution to our own substantial illegal immigration problem, Hungary has managed to figure it out. Their common sense solution? Build a wall.
Their solution may be unremarkable in its simplicity, but the results are nothing short of astounding. Faced with an increasingly disastrous migrant crisis, Hungary’s wall has managed not only to slow the flow of refugees into their country, but take migration levels below pre-crisis levels.
As Europe struggles to face the consequences of millions of refugees flooding into their own countries, Hungary can now take solace in the fact that their own struggles with the epidemic are effectively over.
