The Huffington Post posted a controversial headline after Trump was announced the winner n the New Hampshire Primary, and it wasn’t exactly a glowing endorsement of the candidate or the state.
The headline read “NH GOES RACIST, SEXIST, XENOPHOBIC.”
Of course, it should have been expected that the news organization wouldn’t exactly be pleased with New Hampshire handing Trump his first primary win. They have a history, after all.
In July, The Huffington Post announced, “we have decided we won’t report on Trump’s campaign as part of The Huffington Post’s political coverage. Instead, we will cover his campaign as part of our Entertainment section. Our reason is simple: Trump’s campaign is a sideshow. We won’t take the bait. If you are interested in what The Donald has to say, you’ll find it next to our stories on the Kardashians and The Bachelorette.”
In January, The Huffington Post began adding editor’s notes to the bottom of their stories about Trump calling him a “liar,” a “racist,” and a “xenophobe.”
The accusations against Trump, and by extension New Hampshire, are incredibly irresponsible for a major news organization, but calling the Huffington Post a “major news organization” is probably giving them way too much credit. After all, their childish feud with Trump has hardly hurt his popularity. Rather, it’s just feeding the very anti-media sentiment that has propelled Trump to the stratosphere.
Now it looks as if they’re trying to get entire states to turn against them as well.

I don’t think the vast majority of Americans are buying into Huff and Puff’s postings about Trump. I damn sure am not. Some of us need to get our noses out of the thesaurus.
