It’s now legal for men to use women’s bathrooms, showers, and dressing facilities – and vice-versa – thanks to the passing of the Equal Rights Ordinance in Houston, TX.
Mayor Parker, Houston’s first openly gay mayor, called it “most personally meaningful thing I will ever do as mayor.”
The ordinance’s stated goal is to eliminate discrimination in housing and employment for gays, transgenders – 14-characteristics in total – including race, ethnicity, age, religion and disability.

I don’t understand this at all. Whet could be so “personally meaningful” about this? To me it’s utterly disgusting and completely unnecessary. If you are a guy who thinks he’s a woman, what is wrong with still using the men’s room? You afraid some other guy is going to see your dick? Nobody cares! Visa versa with women. I don’t get it. And what about public safety? What’s to stop some perv. from hanging out in the lady’s room, getting his kicks while claiming to be a woman? If someone can explain this to me, I would be grateful.
