Mr. Obama may have been famous for his frequent golf outings, but that didn’t stop him from taking action as his presidency came to to a close. In fact, he may actually have spent more time on the job in his waning days as president than he did during the bulk of his tenure — at least if you measure that by the number of decisions he made and orders he issued.
As a confirmed opponent of the Second Amendment, we would expect some of those last-minute orders to attack the rights of Americans to keep and bear arms. And that is precisely what we got. However, things are very different now that Donald Trump is president, and it could very well be that the recent election has even emboldened the Congress to deal with some of Obama’s excesses.
