Donald Trump may be surging higher than ever in his race to secure the GOP nomination, but that hasn’t stopped many from trying to bully the man, and threatening to tear down any progress he’s made to the presidency.
First it was the GOP establishment, but now the Latino left is doing it’s best to intimidate the candidate.
Reporters interviewed an outspoken anti-Trump Hispanic demonstrator outside a Trump rally in Fort Worth, Texas on Friday and he warned Trump’s white supporters that there would be consequences if the real estate mogul managed to make it to the White House.
“If these people get what they want, Trump in there, I guarantee you — you think the Mexicans are going to lay down that easily? We don’t ever say nothing,” Ronald Gonzales, of Dallas, told TheBlaze.
After explaining that he wasn’t exactly an advocate for open borders, Gonzales said many of the illegal immigrants already living in the country have families here and they would not allow Trump break up their families.
“It ain’t gonna happen,” he said. “You really want the Mexicans to really, really stir, really get mad? Y’all don’t understand — we aren’t the minority anymore. We own Texas. Texas is Mexican-made. I’m five generations deep right here.”
