Hillary was quoted by the Washington Post claiming, “There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.”
In reality, everyone realizes that, as Secretary of State, Clinton’s security detail would never put her in such a dangerous position or their incompetence – or the sheer bad luck of the unlikely event – would’ve been major news. Instead, the only news was that Hillary Clinton had either made an unnecessary, outrageous lie with her statement, or that she had managed to delude herself.
Video footage of Clinton’s arrival show a very calm scene without any immediate danger. Clinton exaggerated her role in foreign and domestic policy-making and in this case, told an outright lie.
