“I am running for President to protect our families and our communities from the plague of gun violence,” Hillary told the crowd in Virginia. “It is heartbreaking and infuriating that we lose an average of 90 American’s every day… it’s not just an urban problem…” She goes on to lists various places that have tragically had gun violence, but not once condemns the man pulling the trigger.
As in typical leftist fashion, she condemns the very thing that keeps her safe, the guns that follow her around the country, but the average American cannot have them, as there is a plague.

The common denominator is a philosophy. It is the concept of how humans can live together in peace and resolve their inevitable conflicts with optimum justice for all. It is an ideology that answers the question of when it is acceptable to use physical force against another person and when that is forbidden. In short, it is a choice between two opposing models of state power: One is collectivism and the other is individualism.
The great political debates of our time are, not about if a problem should be solved or an injustice corrected, or even about what the solution should be. They are about how to do it. Most people want the government to take charge and accomplish the desired ends by coercion. Those are the collectivists who now control every nation in the world.
The rest of us are convinced that kings and politicians, not only make things worse, they also waste (or steal) huge sums of money in the process.
We are the individualists who want the state to do only one thing, and that is to protect our lives, liberty, and property ‒ nothing more. We believe that, if we want to remain free, then everything else is up to us.
As long as collectivists control the power centers of society, there will be no lasting reform. We can debate all be want; we can be factually correct in all that we say; we can present logically superior arguments all day long; but as long as collectivists hold the levers of power in government, media, and education, nothing will change.
The rest of that thought is that, as long as activists deal with issues without reference to the ideological foundation of those issues, collectivists will remain in power.
