Crooked Hillary Clinton may be living up to her nickname.
One of Donald Trump’s unexpected — but effective — strategies during the GOP primary was to assign each of his primary opponents an unflattering nickname. Low Energy Jeb, Little Marco, and Lyin’ Ted each tried to escape their moniker with little success.
When Trump emerged victorious from the GOP field, many were left anxious to find out what he would call Hillary Clinton.
He didn’t keep us waiting long. Weeks after he clinched the nomination, he announced his opponent’s nickname, Crooked Hillary.
The media didn’t take to the characterization very kindly. Just last week, CNN was caught deleting the word “crooked” from their onscreen graphics containing Trump’s tweets.
Hillary may be a media darling, but that doesn’t mean she’s leaving anything to chance. Rather than face the press one-on-one, it looks as if she received a bit of extra help this week from her campaign staff.
