Hillary Clinton’s desire for open borders has long been speculated, but this week we finally have absolute proof.
Ever since Donald Trump announced his presidential campaign, immigration has been a hot button issue in the 2016 race. While Republicans warred over who had the most effective — and humane — immigration policy, the Democrats all seemed to employ the same strategy: They accused Trump’s plan of racism, then tried to say that his plan represents the entire GOP.
This mud flinging has largely taken the place of concrete policy proposals from the left, which may have been their strategy from the beginning. That way, the general public would never know how liberal Hillary Clinton’s immigration policy would be.
But they didn’t hide it from everyone. Behind closed doors, Mrs. Clinton made her immigrations dreams very clear.
