At Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, Colorado, earlier last year a member of their “Cultural Arms Club” led the entire student body in an Arabic version of our Pledge of Allegiance, replacing the words “under God” with “under Allah.”
Principal Tom Lopez has come under fire for ´pushing an Islamic agenda´, which he denies, stating the move was to “destroy the barriers, embrace the cultures” that exist within the school.

Jason Pelzel you can change the pledge. It was changed many years ago. The words “under God” were added and are not part of the original pledge. So if you want to keep the original pledge, don’t say “under God”.

Who is this Principle trying to kid! His intent was exactly to,inflame and discredit our National Pledge! Otherwise he could have used another generic term other than Allah! Why not “our maker” or “greater power” etc,! I’m not buying his rehtorical explanation! He needs to be fired period!
Do one that recites: ” Under God”.
Let’s concentrate on American culture since people coming to American were blending their cultures with ours but wanted to become Americans and not something else. They embraced America and its culture.
