Help Our Homeless Veterans Through the Non-Profit ‘Furnish A Veteran’ Project

David Preston is a U.S Veteran navy diver.  He seemingly had it all, including running his own million dollar consulting firm, a big home, travel, the works.  Then illness destroyed it all, and David lost everything, including his home, family, business, and hope.

The VA hospital helped get David back on his feet, but like so many vets, he found that resources were stretched to the max and overrun with corruption.

David started Furnish a Veteran to help these heroes who have been rendered homeless.

Here’s how the Facebook Page describes itself:

  • Company Overview
Furnish A Veteran is a Non Profit Organization. Our goal is to furnish the homes of Veterans who were once homeless and have recently got back on their feet and into a place they can call home. The organization provides furniture and appliances to the Veterans home that would otherwise be empty and barren. The goal of Furnish A Veteran is to get homeless veterans off the streets and into a place they can call home that is furnished. Through this, the organization hopes the Veterans can give life a new meaning and start fresh without worrying if they are going to sleep on the floor or not.
We are currently starting up in South Carolina and through donations, plan to expand across all 50 states.

There is an estimated 50,000 homeless veterans in the US. This is completely unacceptable!

We owe so much to the men and women who have served our country with honor. Read David’s story and then help him give back.

Go to the Furnish a Veteran Facebook page below right now, then take a look at their website and help with a donation of any size.

Simply by joining their Facebook page you will bring awareness to this non-profit project as your friends will follow what you do.
