Harry Reid: GOP lost its moral compass over Planned Parenthood

The videos released in July — offering close-ups of aborted fetal organs and Planned Parenthood officers touting “I’m not going to crush that part” — have forced the organization and its Democratic backers into the corner.

But rather than realize the grizzly nature of what they are defending, Democrats are sounding the same theme they always call upon when trapped, they say the GOP creates an assault on health care for women.

Fox News noted that leading Dems completely upend the issue, says Pro-Life supporters are depraved. Pregnancy is treated as a disease and it is ethical to kill unborn children and harvest their parts for profit.

“It’s our obligation to protect our wives, our sisters, our daughters, our granddaughters” from the GOP’s “absurd policies,” Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev, said before the vote. “The Republican Party has lost its moral compass.”

The videos by anti-abortion group Center for Medical Progress, now number four videos in which people converse with Planned Parenthood officials.

GOP leaders are seek three congressional committee investigations, plus probes in several states to produce damning evidence of Planned Parenthood wrongdoing and defeat and defundthe organization. See the Fox Report Here.

The GOP measure calls for funneling Planned Parenthood’s federal dollars to other health care groups, including hospitals, state and local agencies and federally financed community health centers. Republicans say women will continue receiving the health care they need because Planned Parenthood’s  700 clinics are far outnumbered by other providers.
