On July 15th, the House Homeland Security Committee UNANIMOUSLY approved highly controversial legistlation that greatly increases the ability for FEMA and DHS to roundup Americans they deem as potentially violent extremists.
When it comes to issues that protect and preserve the Republic, our Congress is always divided. But, when it comes to despotic legistlation that ‘must’ be approved, somehow there is a complete consensus.
This legislation creates the Office for Countering Violent Extremism, or CVE, within DHS under the guise of preventing Americans from becoming radicalized by extremist groups.
“In the face of mounting threats, our government is doing far too little to counter violent extremism here in the United States,” stated Chairman Michael McCaul (R-Texas), the bill’s main sponsor. “Whether it is the long reach of international terrorists into our communities or the homegrown hate spread by domestic extremist groups, we are ill-equipped to prevent Americans from being recruited by dangerous fanatics.”
History teaches us many lessons. It is apparent many of you do not know much of it. If you look to history you will see that the fear some have is well founded. It not like well it cant happen here it just cannot. But history shows it has. Ww1 italian austrian and german citizens were arrested and interned in camps. Woodrow wilson had political diddidents arested and interned. Ww2 japanese german italian and austrian citizens rounded up and interned. Dangerous violent extremest is a vauge term.who decides. No party in washington is your friend. Look to other points in history look at the rise of $#%&!@* germany they were socialist. Look at the patterns gun control registration confiscation interment war. A people who fear their government have tyranny a government who fears its people their lies liberty.
Larry R Douglas I fully understand where you are coming from. The point that I’m trying to make is that articles like this are nothing but fear-mongering. Since 2008 all I’ve heard from every Republican is that Obama is going to steal our guns, lock us up in camps, and raise the $#%&!@* flag over the White house. Here we are eight years later and none of that has come to p$#%&!@*, nor has there been a single shred of evidence to substantiate any of it. The only problem with Obama being President is that he is a black democrat, and that is something the GOP simply cannot cope with. This is precisely why I choose not to affiliate with any political party, because party politics are what is really destroying this country.
I want a president who will stand up and say “you can have all of the pot you want, marry whomever you want, have an $#%&!@*nal of weapons in your ba$#%&!@*t and feel free to walk down the street with them if you want, and we’re not going to eavesdrop on your phonecalls or fine you for not having health insurance.”
Then, and only then, will we have a president who actually fulfills his oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Cons$#%&!@*ution of the United States.

Then on the 3rd of next month, he is going to Mexico to sign a Treaty with the United Nations about Small Arms. They want a national gun registry.
