On Thursday at a House Judiciary Committee hearing, Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) declared that Jesus Christ would have “perished” if President Donald Trump’s border policies had been in place when the Holy Family fled after King Herod ordered the execution of male children two years old and under.
Gutierrez used the entirety of his time to berate Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen as a “remorseless” liar for her claims that the department does not have a family separation policy in place.
