Griffin So Repulsive Even Satanists Keep Their Distance, But Not Al Franken

In a media oversaturated with negative messaging against President Trump, the Griffin photo proved too much to take. The outcry was swift and overwhelmingly critical of Griffin.

Today the news got even more disturbing when it was learned that 11-year old Barron Trump had seen the image on television and was traumatized by it.

President Trump took to Twitter and noted his displeasure:

Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself. My children, especially my 11-year old son, Barron, are having a hard time with this. Sick!”

First Lady Melania Trump took the reaction one step further, questioning Griffin’s sanity:

As a mother, a wife, and a human being, that photo is very disturbing,” Mrs. Trump said in a statement. “When you consider some of the atrocities happening in the world today, a photo opportunity like this is simply wrong and makes you wonder about the mental health of the person who did it.”

Nevertheless, Senator Franken stood up for Griffin on the CNN program, showing he bought her lame apology hook, line and sinker.

Kathy is a friend and she’s a terrific comedian, but this had no business being in our public discourse,” explained the Minnesota Democrat. “And I talked to her. She has apologized… she actually begged for forgiveness and I believe in forgiveness.”

Camerota then asked the Senator if the D-list celebrity could recover from the controversy.

I think she did the right thing asking for forgiveness and acknowledging that this is a horrible mistake, so I think she can.”

An ongoing problem for Franken is he has a scheduled appearance with Griffin on July 7 in Beverly Hills to promote a new book he has coming out. He acknowledged he plans to keep the engagement with her, but then, the fallout is just beginning.

In his tweet, Cernovich urged people to contract CNN advertisers and let them know how upset they are that CNN has not acted to dismiss Griffin as a co-host of its New Year’s Eve telecast with Anderson Cooper. Early this afternoon, CNN announced she was being fired.

Already, alarm company ADT announced it’s dropping its ads on the cable network.
