Green Day Leads Chant at AMA: “No Trump! No KKK! No Fascist USA!”

In an interview with Kerrang! Magazine, Billy Joe, in typical liberal fashion, compared Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler. Much like resorting to swearing during an argument, the moment you start comparing people to Hitler, you’re proving what an idiot you are.

“The worst problem I see about Trump is who his followers are,” Armstrong told the magazine. “I actually feel bad for them, because they’re poor, working-class people who can’t get a leg up. They’re pissed off and he’s preyed on their anger. He just said, ‘You have no options and I’m the only one, and I’m going to take care of it myself.’ I mean, that’s f*cking Hitler, man!”

Green Day wasn’t the only act to get political during Sunday night’s show. Model Gigi Hadid did an impression of future First Lady Melania Trump toward the beginning of the ceremony.

While Dookie, Nimrod and Warning were really great albums, as soon as the band started diving into politics, they became just more annoying liberal musicians. Say what you want Billy Joe, but Donald Trump is president, and you can lead the American Idiots in as many chants as you’d like, but nothing is going to change that.
