When the police show up, Oulis is outraged, and rightly so. How would you like it if a bunch of people set up a tent city in your front yard, especially if you grow your own food?
Was he wrong to do this? Not really. While it’s nice to see that at least one of the migrants is understanding of his problem, it’s still Oulis property, and he pushed his generosity as far as it would go. His financial well-being is on the line. He won’t be able to help anybody if he can’t even help himself.
