When President Obama announced his executive order laying the groundwork for gun control regulations, many heaved a sigh of relief that it was not more stringent or far reaching. And it is true that he could have been much more direct and authoritarian, but that would have invited immediate legal challenges, so the initiative is more subtle, but devious none the less.
Obama just created a system that will grow and spread to the states, and it will have the ability to establish a gun registry and prohibit hundreds of thousands, even millions, from the ability to buy a gun. Obama opined that federal federal anti-gun legislation will not happen during his presidency, but his actions will have the same effect.
The Gun Control Act of 1968 prohibits those who have been involuntarily committed or determined to be “mentally defective” from buying a gun. Subsequent legislation adds to the list “those who lack the mental capacity to contract or manage their own affairs,” even if that person does not represent a threat to anyone else. The National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) “mental defective file” currently includes about 150,000 individuals, including veterans who were not able to manage their own financial affairs. All of these individuals are precluded from owning a gun, even though there was no indication that they had a propensity for hurting someone.
Here is where Obama’s proposal becomes dangerous. The practice of placing someone on this list was arbitrary and did not even allow a hearing, but the total number of individuals on the list was fairly small. As a result of the president’s new orders, the Health and Human Services Department announced that it will modify the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and allow state health agencies to disclose personally identifiable information about “mentally defective” individuals directly to the NICS.

Over the years we have been complacent with the political system.
While we were sleeping, mentally, our politicians have gradually turned into self serving parasites.
We have been so wrapped up in ourselves that we have ignored our communities, our children and God.
So now we have an acceptance of wrong doing in society, that we call liberalism, and created monsters like Hillary Clinton.
Then those liberals could care less about the foundation of our nation, our constitution, our religious freedoms and certainly they care less about God.
Crime isn’t against the law anymore, it’s the norm. Our law enforcement officers aren’t supported they are crucified for every action they take and often murdered for doing their job.
Our once powerful nation is the laughing stock of the world and our military has been depleted of its strength to protect our freedoms and our sovereignty.
Where you and you ancestors struggled to become American citizens so you could strive for a better life it is now acceptable to illegally enter the United States and as an illegal alien receive more benefits from the government than that provided to our veterans, our homeless citizens and our parentless children.
The constitutional rights that people died for in the birth of our nation are under constant attack and our congress does nothing to protect.
Our president, that we elected, is the enemy of the very country he is sworn to protect and has created a divisiveness of race greater than anytime since the civil war.
So America it’s time to decide and the decision is one so critical that it will actually determine the course of our future. Do we continue down this path of destruction that , with all certainty, end everything we have struggled to achieve, end our religious freedoms, end our constitutional rights and end all that America has represented to those struggling for a better life or do we take a stand “now” and put an end to the corruption, the destruction of our communities and our churches? Do we put God back as a priority in our life and our children’s lives and bring back respect to our nation?
I for one will stand with Mr. Trump for all the right reasons and without hesitation. Where will you stand?
