President Biden on Tuesday lashed out at Republican Governors Ron DeSantis (FL) and Greg Abbott (TX) for pushing back on vaccine passports and mask mandates.
“If some governors aren’t willing to do the right thing to beat this pandemic, then they should allow businesses and universities who want to do the right thing to be able to do it,” President Biden said of Florida and Texas on Tuesday,
“If you aren’t going to help, at least get out of the way,” he added.
DeSantis blasted Biden on Wednesday for the comment, telling the President to ‘do his job’ and ‘secure the border’, otherwise, he didn’t want to ‘hear a blip’ about COVID.
