Our constitution was effectively re-written once again this week, as a group of liberal judges on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals decided that the right to gun ownership in public is not protected by the constitution. It makes one wonder, if judges think that the ability to carry a gun isn’t a constitutional right, what does the Second Amendment protect?
This ruling is further proof of the dire need this country has for conservative judge appointments, and no sitting Governor seems more aware of this than Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
In a tweet attacking the senseless conceal carry decision, Abbott leveled a clear threat, “come and get it.”
Unfortunately for the Governor, state executives and legislators are being stripped of their rights to create and enforce the laws in their own states. Instead, activist judges have decided to grant themselves lawmaking power in order to push their personal agendas.

James Whyte doesnt understand “well regulated”. The poor bastard thinks it means to regulate by laws.
Here James Whyte is the meaning “a well equipped/supplied militia”.
Colonial definitions often confuse the unlearned.
The meaning of the phrase “well-regulated” in the 2nd amendment
From: Brian T. Halonen
The following are taken from the Oxford English Dictionary, and bracket in time the writing of the 2nd amendment:
1709: “If a liberal Education has formed in us well-regulated Appetites and worthy Inclinations.”
1714: “The practice of all well-regulated courts of justice in the world.”
1812: “The equation of time … is the adjustment of the difference of time as shown by a well-regulated clock and a true sun dial.”
1848: “A remissness for which I am sure every well-regulated person will blame the Mayor.”
1862: “It appeared to her well-regulated mind, like a clandestine proceeding.”
1894: “The newspaper, a never wanting adjunct to every well-regulated American embryo city.”
The phrase “well-regulated” was in common use long before 1789, and remained so for a century thereafter. It referred to the property of something being in proper working order. Something that was well-regulated was calibrated correctly, functioning as expected. Establishing government oversight of the people’s arms was not only not the intent in using the phrase in the 2nd amendment, it was precisely to render the government powerless to do so that the founders wrote it.
You think you can overthrow the US government with primitive weapons? Good luck with that… we have a mental hospital nearby for folks that are not in touch with reality. Are you familiar with the concept of treason? There are MANY monuments around here remembering the dead guys in gray who took up arms against Uncle Sam. We never cease to be amazed at the illogic of the gun crowd.
James Whyte, who do you think are manning those weapons the Government possesses? Men and Women like myself who’ve sworn an oath to support and defend the Constitution. And the treasonous ones are those like yourself and elected officials that have sworn the same oath and are now breaking that oath.
Good man I only wish we had more Governor’s like him.
This affects us in Hawaii directly. I hope the litigants appeal this to the sumpter court

I’m pretty sure us veterans are more than qualified. Probably more so than those body guards your talking about.
And the word of The Lord came to me saying ! To all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people ; For God so loved the world that he gave his only son Jesus the Christ ” on his cross ….. that whoever believes in him will not perish , but will have eternal life …. For I sent not my Son into the world to condemn the world …. But that the world though him might be saved….. For its my goodness” , saith The Lord , that leads all of mankind to repentance….For eternity is invading time….
James Whyte The Virginia Declaration of rights is not the Constitution of the United States. Go back and reread the Second Amendment again. You STILL won’t find any of your points stated anywhere in it. You STILL won’t find your gun bans. You STILL won’t find any of your gun laws. You will STILL have to insinuate and add what is NOT there in order to try and validate your position. But you know what you WILL find? ” The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed “, just like it always been for over two hundred years. AND YOU WILL STILL BE WRONG!
