The GOP establishment’s hatred for Donald Trump is driving it into some truly baffling positions.
When confronted with the very real possibility that Trump would be representing the Republican Party against presumed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton next November, former LA mayor and seasoned member of the GOP establishment Dick Riordan disdainfully remarked “I would probably go find a deserted island,” before adding that while Hillary is “disgusting,” he thinks Trump is “crazy” and thus not fit to be president.
This assessment of the Donald’s candidacy is very much at odds with a vast amount of GOP voters, who have taken the former Celebrity Apprentice host to the lead of the Republican nomination process. But this undeniable grassroots support hasn’t stopped the old guard of the GOP from refusing to recognize Trump as either a serious or desirable contender for the presidency.

Idiocy!
Congratulations to GOP for openly admitting what they have been doing for years! Party to them is meaningless–CONTROL is everything!
My money is on Trump.
But most likely this isn’t true, the GOP won’t back Hillary. But they are desperate to take Trump out, so we can expect lots of things like this to be said.
They already have been supporting the Dems why do you think we didn’t want them in the first place! We want #Trump2016
then ask these dumb a-hole did they secretly vote for Obama both times before sounds like they are the turncoats we have in politics now
! agree with Judy Doran ! NO self respecting Republican would even CONSIDER backing KILLARY ! #TrumpForPresident2016!
Supporting Hilary? I just re-tasted my lunch
