Rep Mark Sanford (R – SC) is getting scared. Liberal fear is starting to grip the hearts of the RINOs following the tragic shooting of House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R – LA).
He ran all the way from Capitol Hill to the nearest MSNBC studio to share he too thinks Trump is bad. Very bad!
He doesn’t want Trump to be president. He doesn’t want the swamp drained. And he sure as hell doesn’t want to get shot. You can almost sense how hard Rep Sanford is trying to summon all the self-control he has in his body to refrain from dropping to his knees and publicly proving to the Democrats how very very sorry he is forever crossing the Establishment by supporting President Trump.
But, instead, he trembled nervously as he tried to confidently backpedal on everything a sane moral person would possibly stand for. Yes, he did exactly what you’ve heard scared RINOs do in the DC political jungle. He blamed President Trump for the recent attack on innocent lives. Just another “jerk of the century”.. No backbone.
Idiot! Him and congressmen just like cause of crime in this country! They need to put filter in their mouth!
Oh Yeah i agree with you Judy kindly send me a friend request to have you as a friends
That is like saying obama did the shooting himself, or maybe it was you, you all look alike to me, criminals dont change color.
This guy needs to grow up, grow a set of balls, get a frickin pistol on his hip ang get the guys together and develop a plan to protect themselves and our President. Not be a freaking little wimp rolling pver and wetting himself…
Is this not the same weirdo who “disappeared” a few years ago & ended up in Brazil or some other with his mistress????? And he was re-elected?????
REMEMBER HIS NAME SOUTH CAROLINA, REPRESENTATIVES LIKE HIM NEED TO GO! The Republicans told us 2010 IF they had the House, things would be different, they told us in 2014 IF they had the House and the Senate, things would be better, they told us in 2016 they needed the Presidency, now they have all three but WHERE are they? Republicans do NOT know how to fight or win! Most have no guts, no spine and/or no balls. We need to vote them ALL out and bring in new representatives that want to work for us in Washington instead of just sitting on their butts for years, drawing a paycheck without working for the people, it is all about them and they are getting as bad as the Democrats. One thing for sure is that Democrats unite and stand their ground, Republicans could learn at least one positive thing from them. I thought for once we could make a difference but they were there long before Trump and NOTHING new. Remember their names, vote them OUT of office for NOT getting in front of the cameras and fighting AGAINST the Democrats and the media and FOR the President.
being voted into office is NOT what I am talking about, yes they won their seats and what have they done? Have they stood behind the President with all of the media lies of anonymous sources….NOPE? Have they stood behind the President with all of the collusion with Russia narrative even when some Democrats, Clapper, Comey and Brennan said there was no evidence of collusion with Russia….NOPE. Are they doing anything about the unmasking and surveillance against people in Congress, Trump, Trump Transition even the Supreme Court….NOPE. They should be countering EVERYTHING that is wrong instead of doing nothing which makes them no better than the Democrats…PERIOD. Maybe that is what some people voted into office but I expected something much different.
This is highly inaccurate. I’ve gotten a number of calls today with people picking up on rather sensational media headlines that tried to claim I believed that Donald Trump was responsible for yesterday’s shooting. That’s not true. The assertions were based on an interview I did earlier this morning with Joe Scarborough, who I once served with in Congress.
As too often is the case in the world of politics, people will grab a portion of a phrase and use it to the effect that serves their purpose. This is the case with these headlines.
Given the friends that did call, I’ve included the clip below from another interview that I did a few hours ago with Craig Melvin. I’d ask that you take a look. Once again, we talked about the tragedy that occurred yesterday and what I see is the degradation of civil debate at all levels of our society.
There’s plenty of blame to go around. At some level, we’re all to blame. Some would say that Obama let people down, based on the way in which he was to be a great uniter…and proved to be less than that. Others would blame President Trump for some of the things that he has said over the course of his campaign and time in office. Still others would focus on the way in which people in politics have said awfully rough things about each other of late.
So the bottom line is this: too often, people want to blame somebody else for what we can all have a hand in fixing. The main point of the clip here is that while different people, including the president, have said some things that strain this notion of civil discourse – it’s up to all of us to look for ways of being more civil to each other.
