Goldman Sachs Bans Top Employees from Donating to Trump

If you still haven’t got a clue as to who the elites are rooting for this election, pay extra close attention to the following news.

Goldman Sachs – you know, one of the architects of the 2008 economic crash who got nothing more than a slap on the wrist (well, that and some millions of dollars worth in government bailout money) for their role in it – has banned senior employees from making contributions to political campaigns. Not all campaigns however: just ones that happen to have a state official running for a federal office. Ones like, say, the Donald Trump and Mike Pence ticket for the presidency of the United States.

Curiously, the bank’s self-imposed ban on donations to political candidates doesn’t extend to the Clinton-Kaine campaign, which just so happens to not fall under any of the conditions cited by the new rules as barring company support. Absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Goldman CEO Lloyd Blankfein is a long-time supporter of the Democratic candidate, right?
