For whatever reason, Glenn Beck has gone from comparing Democrats to Nazis to comparing Republicans to Nazis.
Speaking on his radio program this past Thursday, the former Fox News host brought up comments by Rush Limbaugh about the Republican race. Limbaugh argued that populism and nationalism have become more important to Republican voters than plain conservative ideology, leading to many supporting Donald Trump over more traditional GOP politicians. According to Beck, this is a terrible thing that could spell the “end of the Republic.”
In Beck’s view, populism and nationalism led directly to fascism, something that he has warned about since his days on cable news. Now, however, he says that Trump, whom he claims to have nothing against “as a man,” has “the makings of Adolf Hitler.”

As you know the National Review with at least 20 sponsors wrote a cover piece trashing Donald Trump. They lectured us about conservative values and how to identify a conservative. They wrote about how Donald Trump has flipped his positions on so many issues becoming an opportunist to run for POTUS. National Review, remember Mitt Romney? He flipped on about every issue imaginable to run for POTUS in 2012, including healthcare. He had a political history in office to prove it. Remember who you endorsed for POTUS in 2012? This page will remind you. You endorsed Mitt Romney. He lost badly. Early in the campaign you trashed the most conservative of the candidates, Newt Gingrich. Do we think Megyn Kelly will do a follow up National Review story on this? Don’t hold your breath. Don’t forget NR was strongly against Reagan when he ran. We Trump supporters do our research NR.
