Lisa Borch became obsessed with radical Islam after falling in love with an extremist, who left her to move to Sweden. Her new boyfriend, who is also a Muslim and 29-years-old was also convicted in the murder. Though nobody saw him near the house, his fingerprints were found in the bedroom.
“This murder was cold blooded, ice cold and committed in a bestial manner,” said prosecutor Karina Skou.
In October, police received a frantic call from Borch.
“I heard my mother scream and I looked out the window and saw a white man running away,” she screamed. “Please come here, there is blood everywhere.”
Police arrived only to find Borch sitting in the “living room room with her iPhone and watching videos on YouTube.” The police asked about her mother and the young girl “simply pointed upstairs.” That action alone set off red flags with the police. Officers discovered Holtegaard on her bed covered in blood after someone stabbed her at least 20 times.
Authorities confiscated Borch’s computer, which showed the teenager had repeatedly watched videos of ISIS beheadings. They also discovered she planned to run awat to Syria with Abdulla and join ISIS.
This isn’t the first time extremists have recruited young girls from foreign countries into their campaign of violence and death. This shows you how truly sick and twisted the religion of Islam is and what kind of threat ISIS poses to not just Western Nations as a whole, but the youth who reside within their borders.
