Fox News reports that now, in a complete reversal, Germany announced it is immediately introducing really tough border controls for “urgent security reasons.”
However, the floodgates opened and the poor refugees turned out to be the Islamic invaders that had been predicted by none other than ISIS.
The border controls are supposed to curb the influx of migrants. Currently, tens of thousands of refugees per day find their way to Germany, many of them from civil-war-torn Syria.
On Saturday alone, 12,000 new refugees arrived in the Bavarian capital Munich. Germany expects a total of up to 800,000 refugees this year.
Until recently, Germany had granted these refugees free travel. Now, this no longer applies, and entering Germany is supposed to be possible with valid travel documents only.
The federal police are now sending all available police officers to Bavaria to close the borders. There are even considerations to use German soldiers to secure the borders. The Deutsche Bahn, Germany’s railway company, closed service between Austria and Germany for 12 hours Sunday at the government’s request.

To put these numbers into perspective, this means that every year the U.S. admits a number of Muslim migrants larger in size than the entire population of Des Moines, Iowa; Lincoln, Nebraska; or Dayton, Ohio.”

Frau Merkel suddenly realized, that she had overplayed her hand in Europe, and very badly so. The old east block european contries want absolutely NOTHING to do with syrian refugees… At all. They’ve told her so repeatedly, and they’ve never accepted any EU solution on the subject.
When Hungary then closed its border to Serbia, (by obeying the Schengen treaty which Germany didn’t), the perfidious chancellor then threatened with EU economic sanctions.
1. How on gods green earth do you get the idea, to embargo a fellow EU member for upholding the rules?
2. The EU is a union, and if Merkel thinks she can decide EU economy on her own, she needs to be cut down to size.
3. The old East is sticking together, and together they can evicerate Merkel at the next summit. Its not going to be pretty, but it will be entertatining.
4. What took them so long? Merkel doesn’t speak for Germany. She speaks for perhaps half of Germany and maybe even less.
