German Intel Official: ISIS “Hit Squads” have Entered Disguised as Refugees

While these policies did much to stroke the ego of liberal do-gooders, they also did much to expose the people of Germany to violence and crime committed by refugees taking advantage of their hosts’ generosity. So serious is the situation that Manfred Hauser, the vice president of Bavaria’s domestic intelligence agency, says that ISIS “hit squads” have managed to enter the country simply by disguising themselves as refugees.

As the southernmost province of Germany, Bavaria has become the main entry point for migrants into the country, putting the region at increased risk of terror. As Hauser explained on BBC radio, this has led to not just “hit squads” entering the country but ISIS “sleeper cells” being established in Germany:

“‘We have substantial reports that among the refugees there are hit squads. There are hundreds of these reports, some from refugees themselves,’ he said. ‘We are still following up on these, and we haven’t investigated all of them fully.’

Mr. Hauser added: ‘We have irrefutable evidence that there is an [Islamic State] command structure that makes an attack in Germany very likely.'”
