Most everyone is aware that Germany has been authorizing the mass influx of millions of migrants from mostly Muslim nations in an effort to shore up flagging population numbers and a trend toward the eventual extinction of the German people. Compliments of Chancellor Angela Merkel, the European nation has been the proud and willing recipient of these migrants that have been clogging up the inner cities and some specified rural areas in a search for permanent and semi-permanent housing.
Hamburg has come up with the perfect answer (perfect, at least, in the eyes of a Socialist government). The local law enforcement will now be confiscating any and all apartment buildings that are left vacant by the owner for four or more months and renovating them (at a cost to the owner!) and subsequently renting them to migrants (even if they are against the very wishes of the owner!)
The government of Hamburg has come up with this scheme and has already acted on it, taking over six private properties. The idea was really one of the many ideas floated which resonated with Hamburg government officials. The city of Berlin also made promises to its citizens that they would be amending the law that allowed local police to enter private residences if terrorism was suspected. This extension of that law would allow police to enter the private residence in order to see if the property was adequate to house migrants. The law extension proposed was largely ignored by the very Leftist media there until an investigative reporter picked up the story and exposed it. Once exposed, there was no going back. Berlin ended up backing down on the controversial proposal after a backlash from its citizenry.
Hamburg, on the other hand, did not back down. In fact, they have doubled down and intend on building and confiscating even more properties to accommodate their growing number of migrants.

No one yet knows how far this will all go, but it’s a safe bet that Leftists will continue to push the Communist-styled revisions of the existing law in order to welcome their new “guest migrants” to the neighborhood.
Seems to me that it won’t be long before some insanity like this will reach our shores, either through the advocacy of George Soros or through inspired CAIR spokespeople looking to spread the religion of peace.

Yes, vacant by the owner’s wishes. We’re not talking about abandoned here. We’re talking vacant. And the city can seize them even if they’ve only been vacant for 4 months. Not to mention that after seizing them, they renovate them for the migrants, send the bills to the owners of the properties they seized, and then house migrants of their choosing, without deferring to the wishes of the actual owner.

I also lived there in what was West Germany for four years in the 1980s and I agree. But this is the government we’re talking about, after all. Not to mention, you’re talking about a Chancellor-led country whose only concern is that the population of Germany is shored up with Muslim immigrants (2 million since 2015) and a million more in the works. Angela Merkel has wrought this problem and now the German people are paying the price.
