Georgia’s Secret ‘Back Room Congress’ Where Laws Are REALLY Made


Senator and Former ALEC member, Nan Grogan Orrock (D-GA), describes the ALEC as a ‘corporate bill mill’ where corporations actually write the bills – only requiring that lawmakers ‘fill in the blanks’ with their state name.

And the records for these events? Well, in Georgia, lawmakers have exempted themselves from the legislation that they passed to make Georgia’s government more transparent.
