George Soros Warns His ‘Social Engineering’ and ‘Redistributive Policies’ are Threatened by ‘Fascist’ Trump

George Soros serves as a terrific example of the sort of person and ideas that a free people will wish to avoid. In other words, a study of Soros gives liberty-loving people everywhere insight into what they are up against. If he didn’t have any money, we’d never have heard of him. Unfortunately, he has all the money he needs to buy all the attention he desires.

Excerpts from Soros’ “letter” will reveal the man’s prejudices and objectives. And they’ll reveal the frightening vision he holds for the world.

First, understand that by “open societies” Soros is referring to nations with democratically elected leaders who then attend to the people’s business. That’s a bit of an oversimplification as Soros himself admits, but you get the idea.

I find the current moment in history very painful. Open societies are in crisis, and various forms of closed societies – from fascist dictatorships to mafia states – are on the rise. How could this happen? The only explanation I can find is that elected leaders failed to meet voters’ legitimate expectations and aspirations and that this failure led electorates to become disenchanted with the prevailing versions of democracy and capitalism. Quite simply, many people felt that the elites had stolen their democracy.

In other words, according to Soros, the leaders of open societies blew it, so now things look dark as electorates search for other alternatives.

On the final page, check out Soro’s solution for the “dissatisfaction that democracy’s opponents have exploited” as well as what democratic states should be willing to do for the “good of all”:
