CNN is all about the ratings. Human compassion and dignity mean nothing. Sadly, it took a tired mother with wet and hungry children to point this out to CNN in a manner they’d listen.

As she spoke, Danielle raised her voice almost to a scream at Flores, who repeated: ‘Sorry, I’m so sorry’ as she put down the microphone and raised it again.

The interaction began with Flores standing beside Danielle at a shelter in Houston, where Danielle and her children had just recently arrived.
Danielle was shivering and looked visibly distressed as she stood with her young daughter and her young son peeked out from behind her.
Flores asked how she was rescued and Danielle explained that she and her family had been waiting for 36 hours at their home for police to come help them.
She said they waited for days without food or electricity, with flags outside their house to signal a need for help, but no one came.
Eventually she said she walked through flooded streets with her children to a gas station where someone called them a cab to pick them up.
As Danielle told her story, she clearly became more upset, looking around the shelter, hugging her children and even crying.
Meanwhile Flores touched Danielle’s arm and continued to ask her a question about saving her children from the floods, which further upset the distressed mother.
‘We walked through four feet of water to go get them food on the first day. Yeah, that’s a lot of s***,’ Danielle said, before she turned on Flores.
‘But y’all sitting here, y’all trying to interview people during their worst times. That’s not the smartest thing to do.
‘Like people are really breaking down and y’all sitting here with cameras and microphones trying to ask us what the f*** is wrong with us.’
As she spoke, Danielle raised her voice almost to a scream at Flores, who repeated: ‘Sorry, I’m so sorry’ as she put down the microphone and raised it again.
Danielle continued: ‘And you’re really trying to understand with the microphone still in my face with me shivering cold with my kids wet and you still putting a microphone in my face.’
As soon as she said that, Danielle turned and walked away from the cameras as Flores continued to apologize.
The cameras quickly cut back to Jim Acosta in the studio who said: ‘Rosa Flores, it sounds like you’ve got a very upset family there. We’re going to take a break from that and we’ll get back to you later on.’

While Trump was pitching his tax cuts for the wealthy and the giant corporations and hawking his baseball caps, MSNBC split their screen and showed people being rescued from the hurricane caused flooding in Texas.
This was the scene on MSNBC as Trump pushed decades old Republican talking points on tax cuts:
It is difficult to imagine how the optics could be worse as Donald Trump was trying to sell tax cuts for the rich as a great for the rest of America while people were literally being pulled out of flood waters in the state of Texas.
Trump did spend a token few minutes at the top of his speech reading remarks written by someone else about the flooding in Texas, but if there was an image that could perfectly sum up the Trump presidency, it was the split screen of Donald Trump arguing that a tax cut for people like him would be great for the economy while regular Americans are losing everything they own and in some cases their lives in an American city.
Donald Trump just had his Katrina moment, and it was all of his own making.
CNN will be their own demise! But yet they are in every freaken airport and across the world spreading their lies and half truth so! They will need to stage like they did in Katrina by and Anderson Coopers stunt and caught doing during s terrorist attack in Britian and got caught! They have no shame!

Are you talking about the very tax money that is helping them be rescued by military, have food,have a roof over their head in the rain ??????????????????Thinkin I could answer a few questions in thanksgiving for the help I am getting for myself and my kids.
