Retired U.S. Secret Service officer Gary Byrne told Breitbart News exclusively that former President Bill Clinton’s secret meeting with Attorney General Loretta Lynch was a form of “soft intimidation” he became all too familiar with when he used to stand guard outside Clinton’s Oval Office.
“I know all too well how the Clintons use intimidation – it was often soft intimidation, and other times not so soft – to get their way,” Byrne, the author of the newly released book on the Clintons, said in an email. “They are doing this to Loretta Lynch. They are doing it with my book to keep the mainstream media from covering it. And they will keep abusing their power if they get back into office. These tactics show their crisis of character.”
Byrne’s book has shot to the top of Amazon sales as The Drudge Report has heavily featured it throughout the weeks leading up to its release. The Clintons have been working overtime to try to silence Officer Byrne, and when they couldn’t they have tried to suppress media coverage of the revelations in his book. Even though top Clinton White House officials have confirmed Byrne was an honorable officer, the Clinton machine has been working to pressure television networks into ignoring the news and helping Hillary Clinton’s campaign by not reporting on the details contained within Byrne’s bombshell book. The Clinton team has even dispatched media hit man David Brock’s Media Matters for America to try to “discredit” the book, but the largely politically motivated screed the pro-Clinton website posted failed to do that.
“There is more than enough for an indictment,” [Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), the former chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform] said. “The statute about classified material holds you responsible not to transmit in an unsecured environment or to a person not cleared. It holds you accountable not to do that. Not based on whether there’s the word ‘Secret’ all over it, but based on the presumption that you would recognize that classified material. She transmitted things like — I don’t want to disclose anything — like a mayor in Afghanistan who was working with us, and if that material becomes available to the wrong people, she gets killed. You don’t have to ask whether that’s classified. As an army lieutenant years ago, I knew that would be classified because it goes to sources and methods.”
So, with Clinton’s husband — the former President, Bill Clinton — meeting secretly with Loretta Lynch, it raises red flags about whether the Department of Justice and FBI can fairly investigate Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.
In the wake of the news about the meeting, former U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey called on Lynch to recuse herself.
“Lynch retains control of the case, effectively. She has merely, according to reports, decided whose recommendation to follow in making a decision — and has not formally ceded the power to decide. It is a non-recusal recusal,” Breitbart News’ Joel Pollak wrote on Friday about how Lynch did not really recuse. “All Lynch’s move actually does is punt the political responsibility for the decision to the FBI. Though the FBI prides itself on its professionalism and independence, there is no guarantee that it, too, will not be subject to political pressures, or agendas from within and without. In an actual recusal, Lynch would have taken herself completely out of the case, handing it to a special counsel — a non-political appointee in the Department of Justice with a sterling reputation for integrity and not subject to the Obama administration’s politicized chain of command.”
It remains to be seen if Bill Clinton’s “soft intimidation” campaign will work in the end. If Hillary Clinton is not indicted, it appears it will have worked.
The illegal email server and classified or top secret documents are only one of the issues that is part of an even larger problem. But a failure to indict could very well bury all of the issues together. The true extent of the corruption extends to the following issues.
- Clinton established an illegal communications network outside of approved government channels, and hundreds of classified documents were accessible by foreign governments and hackers, thus compromising Clinton’s communication, and at one time, the entire network.
- There have been extensive efforts to hide the communication exchanges and perjury was no doubt committed by Clinton, her associates and even State Department officials in order to hide what happened. That includes her IT specialist who was granted immunity for his testimony and yet declared his 5th amendment right to not incriminate himself 125 times.
- The bigger issue is why the emails were hidden or eliminated in the first place. Though over 30,000 emails were recovered, another 30,000 were not. They were claimed to be personal correspondence, but it is clear to an impartial observer that there was a good deal of quid pro quo such as the one that gave Russia control of 20% of the U.S. uranium assets. The benefit to the U.S. is unclear, and further investigation needs to be conducted to determine what personal benefit Hillary gained from a variety of negotiations that have disappeared in the haze of the email deletions.
- Finally, the Clinton Foundation is the biggest unknown, with hundreds of millions of dollars being dumped into the kitty by foreign nations and operators. What is not clear is how much was truly used for charitable activity, and how much was for the personal gain of the Clintons and their associates, and concurrently, what were the foreign donors promised by a future president Clinton for these donations?
Sadly, the main stream media and the Democrat party are determined to bury all of this in one fell swoop as a nothing issue about a few misguided emails, and they could very well pull it off. And the Clintons, with their well practiced and successful suggestion to anyone getting in the way of Hillary’s march to the White House is, “Don’t poke your nose where it shouldn’t be, we don’t want you should get hurt.” Just business as usual.

I don’t detest Hillary Clinton because she is a woman. I oppose her because she cannot tell the truth to save her life. Any public servant who has the gall to issue a list of terms the press cannot utter, as if disposing the corpse of free will, is helplessly deluded and a petulant child. Sorry, Hillary, but no one owes you anything; especially the nation you proclaim to serve with nothing but the benevolence of blind ambition. If your candidacy cannot survive without the aid of deception, division, and the fabricated catcalls of “sexism” to demonize your critics, then please tell us why America needs you? Better yet, please explain how you’re even worthy of a job? A leader doesn’t need pollsters, a panel of advisers, two news conferences and a room full of media drones just to announce whether or not she used an unauthorized server to conduct official government business and therefore deleted emails in an attempt to avoid prosecution. A leader would never break the law in the first place. And a leader doesn’t shout “what does it matter” when four lives are lost in the wake of her unmitigated failure. Any self-respecting adult with an ounce of integrity would simply admit the truth. Excuse me, any self-aware child who knows the difference between right and wrong, life and death. She was thrown off off the Congressional Watergate panel for lying and she hasn’t stopped lying since !!!!!. And some people want her as our President – she can’t won’t even tell the Truth as Secretary of State – and remember all she has done there to pad her financial pockets and political career – That should be over.
If I’m hiring someone to run my business, placing my future in foreign hands, I don’t care whether you’re a Democrat or Republican, a man or woman, white or black. I want the most qualified candidate whose character speaks for itself and whose ideals can stand on the merits of their own wisdom. That’s common sense. Are you going to have the audacity to tell me what I can and can’t ask; what verbiage is acceptable? If your resume and vision are truly best for the entire nation, not just one party, gender or race, either should be able to withstand the most blistering questions and exhaustive scrutiny. In fact, you should welcome any and all discourse to discredit your detractors and display your competence. A leader unites, empowers and inspires by example, not by excuses or endless blame. Tell me the national debt is a record 18 trillion and that Barack Obama has raised it more than the first 42 presidents combined. Admit that 93 million Americans are out of the workforce, nearly 50 million are on public assistance, and that the economic recovery is a sham. Admonish Iran as a destabilizing force of Islamic radicalism that must never be mentioned in the same sentence as “nuclear power”. Recognize the reality every civilized nation has immigration laws and that American sovereignty, the safety and security of her people, supersedes any political ploy to stuff the ballot box beneath the hollow cries of racism.
