A former Marine, Kevin Wood, was recently banned from his daughter’s school, La Plata High School in La Plata, Maryland because he got into a heated discussion with the vice principal over a school lesson on Islam.
The lesson required students to list the benefits of Islam, which Wood objected to.
“I have witnesses that have said I did not threaten anybody,” Woods stated. “I don’t force my religious views on them, so don’t force your religious views on me.”

That’s right, we don’t need God in our schools after all, that might lead to honesty, respect for life, decent character and discipline. Let’s keep the killing and fighting going it worked so far.
Those of us who have our ‘wits’ about us would remove our children from the pit of hell that public schools (government run), and teach them at home. Believe me, the parent has more effectual knowledge than any teacher in a public school. There are hundreds of online classes to take. This does require that the parent take an active role in the education of their child; I know that by today’s standards that’s asking a lot for the parent to demonstrate care for the welfare and education of their child. Today on the news, three parent killed their children for one reason or another.
Yea man the supreme Court decided they knew better than the founding Fathers and God and took God out of the educational process. That way they can learn hatred for one another and keep killing each other and learn how to rape, murder, lie and hurt kids in general. By golly its working too, what a wonderful decision.
We do not have the freedom.if speech anymore or am I the only one who has noticed?
He should be given a special invitation and given an award. for his service!
I would pull my daughter out of school & go to the local news media to tell them what is going on at the school.
that school should be closed and all of the teachers and administration fired
He and his lawyer should.name not just the. School. It the entire District and name the country and city and state in suit……because they are teaching a religion which is unconstitutional. Separation of Religion and the State…..this is a national government issue as it concerns each child’s rights.
Better yet, get non-profits, churches involved…. snake it a class action suit -bet this is no isolated incident
Parents need to unite, join churches, non-profits and sue the schools, politicians, give it some thought, there has to be away to make it impossible or too expensive for any school to act like this…
