According to witnesses, Grim recalled a problem with the way Watters had come up with an on-camera confrontation of Amanda Terkel, who now also happens to work for the Huffington Post.
Apparently Grim had a problem with Watters’ ambush reporting style, and in retaliation for something that happened in 2009, decided to pull out his cell phone and give Watters a “taste of his own medicine”. Watters stole Grim’s phone, putting in his pocket. That’s when things got physical.
One witness claims a punch was thrown, but after flailing around for a bit, they were separated by Sean Spicer, the communications director at the Republican National Committee. When asked for a comment, a Fox spokeswoman said that Watters would be addressing it on The O’Reilly Factor. I guess we’ll see who gets the last laugh.
